Accurate IGN and Country Rule (Effective Oct 11)

Since this rule has been updated, it will be enforced starting October 11, 2011. This is a zero-tolerance, no exceptions will be made.

ACCURATE IGN AND COUNTRY RULE

1. You must display an accurate IGN of your main account in your Rakion.biz profile.

2. You must display an accurate country of your main account in your Rakion.biz profile.

3. Searching for both your IGN and country at http://rakion.softnyx.net/Rank/Character_Ranking.aspx should return YOUR Rakion account.

4. If you have any other Rakion accounts that you use for trading purposes at Rakion.biz, you must list accurate IGNs and countries for these in your signature..

Summary: Display main IGN/country, even if you don't trade, in your profile. If applicable, display all secondary IGNs/countries used for trading purposes in your signature.

A) Above rule broken but you don't trade: 1 warning & 1-day ban

B) Above rule broken and you traded at Rakion.biz: 1 warning, 7-day ban & permanent negative feedback

1 warning, 7-day ban & permanent negative feedback, regardless of whether or not you traded. After that, more severe punishment determined on a case-by-case basis.

FAQs

Q:What if I don't play Rakion at all?
A:Lucky you. All kidding aside, just put "none" as your IGN and country. This is the ONLY exception to the rules. Note: if you do decide to play, then you must update your profile immediately.

Q:What if I quit?
A:It doesn't matter if you don't play anymore. You still must list your main IGN and country if you're active at Rakion.biz.

Q:What if I sold my main account? (Or: What if I don't use my main account for whatever reason?)
A:We still want to know your main IGN. And if you still trade at Rakion.biz, then you must list the IGN(s) of all the secondary accounts you trade from too, even if you don't play.

Q:So how do I list multiple IGNs?
A:Put your main IGN/country in your profile, and list all the rest in your signature.

Q:I get an error message when trying to input my IGN
A:Put "refer to sig" as your IGN/country and clearly post it in your signature. If listing multiple IGNs/countries in your signature, clearly indicate which is your main.

Rules updated. The IGN you list in your profile must be associated with your MAIN Rakion account. If you have any other secondary accounts, these must be listed in your signature. Basically, you must list your main Rakion account (even if you don't play anymore, don't trade, sold it, etc.) and all other secondary accounts that you use for trade at Rakion.biz. See Q&A on how to list multiple IGNs.

for now...but i'll be closing that down soon because it was more of an incentives post for a few members who really got into it. If anyone wants to report someone for an innacurate IGN feel free to do so via pm to the admins, or any mod for that matter. Everything is running smoothly for us now (we had a few small issues in the past few days sorting things out but it's fixed).

There are a LOT of countries but only a handful of servers.

How can someone look up another player they want to trade with if they say they play in the Europe server?
But if they list Spain as their country then they can be found on the rankings easily.

What are we supposed to do if we don't trade then? We can't scam if we don't trade so issuing this new rule to the website will only hurt your "most people online" statistics. Any scammer could easily fake his in game name if it's a legit name. Doesn't prove much other than scamming could get much, much easier.

Oh, I never knew whatever I say here is set in stone, especially something spoken nonchalantly in a chat.

I could care less about the "most people online" stats. It has no where to go but down since Softnyx publicly announced their views about Rakion.biz, and I can't do anything about that. Never cared for stats anyways. Rakion has always been a dying game and the activity here will reflect the actual game.

If you don't trade, which means you can't scam, then what reason is there to not display IGN? And why post at a Rakion forum and not disclose who you are in the game?
